We had same problem with vlR forum when im right. And as far as I remember we had to change the template coz of that. Coz we couldnt fix it and neither could post any link. demo, pic or whatever....

I told Mike that I won't register here until we know this forum will be our used forum....if we gonna change forum template and I have to create an other account and delete this one, I'm gonna kill Mike... Evil or Very Mad

Nah, the template has nothing to do with it, I fixed it on vlr, you must edit the permissions in each category etc.

Well tbh Pack's awesome in music but in configuring forums.... not much xDDDD

So, to fix the problem with the "name already taken" shit when ppl register, go to admin panel > general > security and mark No on "Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames."

And to fix the "only admins can see this link etc"
Go to the the same admin panel > General > Categories and forums, click permissions, put "See images in the messages" and "See links in the messages" to all. Do that on each category.
